Well this blog was started when i was in 12th standard during a fight. I was in a cyber cafe when nigam had a tiff with seghal. And this blog has seen some ups and downs. Its been ignored and also loved by me. Nigam hit seghal and then he hit his brother. I have changed a lot since then and so has my blog. I am migrating to a new blog with the url latenttendencies.blogspot.com .

Being sick on the path

Few weeks back i was sick with fever. I had 104 temperature. I could not stand or lie down, it was like being on constant pain. Had thoughts like well i do my kriya and pray regularly why am i falling sick. I couldn't remember any thing good. Was grumpy and angry with the doctors (they were going to put drips with a needle on my hand). I screamed at them for 15 minutes and then they decided against putting the drips. I just started observing my breath noticed how irregular and shaky it was. At that moment i came back and realized that how much "tamasha" my mind was doing. My bad mood went away. I realized that past few days of sickness i did not remember guruji at all. As soon as i remembered guruji i felt better and decided i will not suffer any more. I went to "mast kalandar" had combo 75 and following day and i got better. This was a classic example of " pain is inevitable but suffering is optional". But remembering this during pain is.... another thing.

Its a beautiful feeling

Well i back from my temple trip. Back to the usual grind. The trip was beyond words. We decided to go to papanasam and left in 2 hours without any planning. We always reached on time for arrti as we were entering the temple. We could feel the presence of guruji throughout the trip. We made jokes on others expense. We had satsang and the most incredible teacher Shreya Di travelling with us. Gurujis house was like entering VM. Like the most inviting house. I got knocked out in the Kriya there. Its was like my time had come to see gurujis house because all this cannot be done without the grace of the master.

Highlights
Experienced the biggest Shivling in the world.
Experienced the water element temple.
Got blessed by an elephant.
Did Gurupooja in GURUJIs house.
Felt like vijay yatra for me after navaratri.

Something Bigger

I always wanted to be in the pursuit of something bigger than life itself. As a kid I used to be fascinated by tv series of hanuman , mahabharat….. etc(even though I was unable to understand what the characters were saying). These TV shows always portrayed people bigger than life. Feeling inspired by their devotion and service to humanity was so magical. Its been said that when hanuman was asked to prove his love for Ram in front of the whole court ,he tore open his chest . People in the court could see a beautiful picture of Ram and Sita in his chest. This has always been a benchmark for devotion for me atlest(considering we can quantify devotion). Yesterday I heard an amazing story in satsang about Sage Narada. It goes like…………
“The Bhagavata Purana describes the story of Narad's spiritual enlightenment: In his previous birth Narad was a gandharva (angelic being) who had been cursed to be born on an earthly planet due to some offense. He was born as the son of a maid-servant of some particularly saintly priests (brahmins). The priests, being pleased with both his and his mother's service blessed him by allowing him to eat some of their food (prasad) previously offered to their lord, Vishnu.
Gradually Narad received further blessings from these sages and heard them talking about many spiritual topics. When his mother died from a snake's bite, taking this as an act of God (Vishnu), he decided to roam the forest in search of enlightenment in understanding the 'Supreme Absolute Truth'.
Reaching a tranquil forest location, he, after quenching his thirst from a nearby stream, sat under a tree in meditation (yoga), concentrating on the paramatma form of Vishnu within his heart as he had been taught of by the priests he had served. After some time Narad experienced a vision wherein Narayan (Vishnu) appeared before him, smiling, and spoke "that despite having the blessing of seeing him at that very moment, Narad would not be able to see his (Vishnu's) divine form again until he died". Narayan further explained that the reason he had been given a chance to see his form was because his beauty and love would be a source of inspiration and would fuel his dormant desire to be with the lord again. After instructing Narad in this manner, Vishnu then disappeared from his sight. The boy awoke from his meditation both thrilled and disappointed.
For the rest of his life Narad focused on his devotion, meditation upon and worship to Vishnu. After his death Vishnu then blessed him with the spiritual form of "Narad" as he eventually became known. In many Hindu scriptures Narad is considered a saktyavesa-avatara or partial-manifestation (avatar) of God, empowered to perform miraculous tasks on Vishnu's behalf.”

Lets together be in pursuit for that bliss ,that enlightment ……..that bhramin. Lets us leave the small things behind and work towards something biggerand lager thatn life. I pray that you …

Feel only that is auspicious,
Taste and speak only that is auspicious.

zindagi jab bhi teri bazm mein laati hai hamen
ye zamin chand se behatar nazar aati hai hamen

surkh phulon se mahak uthati hain dil ki rahen
din dhale yun teri aawaz bulaati hai hamen

yaad teri kabhi dastak kabhi saragoshi se
raat ke pichhale prahar roz jagaati hai hamen

har mulaqat ka anjaam judai kyun hai
ab to har vaqt yahi baat satati hai hamen

Showers Of Blessings

I finished my blessing course yesterday. Well officially i am a blesser(all blissed out). All those people who have not yet done the blessing course, Just do it. It is a treat, it is said that siddhas and rishis had to undergo years penance to get the power to bless and heal people and here guruji is invoking the power to bless, in you.My Teacher was Pankaj Bhaiya. It is said that in his very presence people get healed. My teacher Shreya Di told me that i was her first student to do the blessing course and guess what, i gave my first blessing to her. Its like a feeling which cannot be explained......All these years i knew i was waiting for this course and now it feels right.
